It was expected to be a peaceful demonstration to declare justice, but the military and police intervention made matter's worse. The riot in Ejura is as a result of the death of their very own Kaaka, he was a known New Patriotic Party member in the community. However after his death, some youths and friends close to him assisted the family to bury their lovely son. It was a sad incident, the police service and military according to the MCE were deployed because they suspected this could happen and wanted peace to prevail. But rather more lives were lost at the cost of seeking Justice for a dead man. The fallen Souls of Ejura, were for the course of fighting for peace and justice.
Tension in Ejura was said to be normal after, the youth attacked the security services and lead to them teaching the youth a lesson of respecting and fearing the military. They intended to do that in a voilent way which resulted into four youths being killed, at the process. On the same day, Kaaka allegedly died two of these youth also followed the suit if death. This is an unexpected incident in Ejura Sekyeredumase community, 25 year old Nasir Yussif Abdul is a resident in the community who met his death after protesting for peace and justice. Mohammed Muntala 26 year's of age was among the men shot by the military, after allegedly throwing stones at them. He was rushed to Ejura Hospital but both lives could not be saved, and they finally met their death. His last seen picture is found below.
