Meet Some High Profile Ghanaians Who Joined Arise Ghana Demonstration

The day-two of the Arise Ghana heated demonstration; which started at the at the El Wak Sports Stadium, has come to an end, but with a new story.

The new twist, in the the demo-day-2 saw a video, of comrade Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), leading a group of protesters, to pray to God.

Sammy Gyamfi; and his group were seen in the video; chanting and calling on Jehovah God, to kill President Nana Akufo-Addo for creating hardship in the country. They were also heard singing a song, which states that, President Nana Addo is destroying the country, and that, God must end his life to save the nation.

The day one of the Arise Ghana Demonstration which started from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle (Obra Sport), in Accra;( on 28 June 2022), saw some high profiles Ghanaian joining in the Demo.

Some of these high profiles Ghanaians are; Kwabena Bobie Ansah (A radio presenter with Accra FM), Comrade Bernard Mornah ( the Managing Partner of Ndaana Ghana Ltd, Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Savanah Ltd, Vice President of Saharan Economic and Financial Consortium, and Chairman of YIRIYELA Ent), and Rex Omar (a Ghanaian highlife artist).

The rest are Kobby Barlon (NDC Deputy National Organizer), Mensah Thompson ( Executive Director · Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability-ASEPA), Listowel Nana Poku, Mordecai Thiombiano, Nana Ntow Amirekyi, Dramani Selorm Dzramado, and Abdul Rahman Zakari.

These are the people, who joined forces, to expressed their displeasure, over the economic hardships, worsening economic conditions, draconian taxes, state capture, and land grabbing, as well as the high cost of fuel in the country.
