Three people has been arrested at Tana North municipality of Ahafo region of Ghana.
These three people were among 8 armed robbers who attacked traders on the the high way.
These robbers stole amount of Gh¢320 and phone from the traders on the highway. The police were able to retrieve the phone but the money was spent by the robbers.
The case was taken to Tano North district court by prosecutor inspector Mohammed Adnan.
These three arrested suspects confessed guilty of the robbery and pleaded that they should be pardoned because they will not do that again.
The Judge who sat on the case was Edward Twum, upon hearing the case, Judge Edward Twum gave them 135 years in prison. This 135 years is to be shared among Ibrahim Musa, Musa Jalo and Tahiro Mumin. So they are going to spend 45 years each.
