Dr. Spio-Gabrah sues Chairman Wontumi

Dr. Ekwow Spio-Gabrah has sued the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Antwi Boasiako Bernar popularly known as Chairman Wontumi for trying to soil his hard earned reputation.

Dr. Spio-Gabrah says this action has been necessary by the latter calling him a thief on September 10, 2020. He is therefore seeking $10 million as compensation. 

The summons from the former Minister for Trade and Industry says Chairman Wontumi was seen on LIVE TV calling him and some other leaders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as thieves and he is going to make sure that he redeems his reputation.

Chairman Wontumi has been the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP for a couple of years now. He has a radio and television station, a farmer, and a businessman who does other things to grow his business empire of which most of these businesses are within the Ashanti Region where he is from.

The outspoken Chairman of the NPP has time and again been heard on LIVE TV confirming he is also a good dealer and owns consession sites of which he has Ben in business for some years now.

Dr. Spio-Gabrah is a prominent figure within the opposition National Democratic Congress. During the 2020 primaries to elect a frlagbearer of his party, he stood with some others to be voted for and stand as the Presidential Candidate hopeful to take the party back into power.
