Akufo-Addo Rose to Fame as a Champion of Demonstration- Suhuyini

The Member of Parliament for the Tamale North constituency, Mr Alhassan Suhuyini has chided President Akufo-Addo and his goverment for the continuous fustration of the #FixtheCountry campaigners, in their bid to demonstrate. Speaking on Gh-One TV today, Mr Suhuyini pointed out that the lost of the social media activist, Kaaka, under the leadership of "a champion of demonstrations" is regrettable. He argues fixing the country would inure to the benefit of every citizen but not only agitators.

"How should that lead to lost of lives especially under a president who among his claim to fame was that he is a champion of demonstration? He participated in almost every demonstration from the days of JJ Rawlings. To have young men and women being prevented and fustrated in a process like demonstration is shameful".

He sighted the shooting of seven(7) Zongo boys in Kumasi, the gruesome murder of Ahmed Suali and mostly recently, the murder of Ibrahim Kaaka Mohammed as a dangerous trend which must be brought to an end as soon as possible.

"Countries that have slipped from peace to chaos were once described as peace loving people. So let us not deceive ourselves that Ghanaians are peaceful-loving and that we cannot slipped".

With reference to the 2016 manifesto of the NPP, the NDC legislator insists President Akufo-Addo must walk his talk by ensuring that Ghanaians are given the needed security they deserve.
