
The office of Attorney general has today, Friday, 16th September, 2022 filed four new charges against En Huang, popularly known as Aisha Huang, over her offences between 2015 and 2017 as well as her re-entry into the country.
Her first charge is that she undertook a mining operation at Bepotenten in the Ashanti Region between 2015 and 2017 without licence. The second offence is that she facilitated four Chinese to mine in the Ashanti region without permit or a license.
Her third charge is that she employed foreign nationals to work for her in the country. This, according to report is against the laws of Ghana Immigration. Lastly, her re-entry into the country is a great offence. This is because, a deported person is not expected to come into the country he or she was deported.
Aisha Huang is currently in the custody of the police after the Accra High Court denied her bail. She is expected to reappear before the court on Tuesday, September 27.
