The member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram Mr. Samuel George Battery Gyata, has once again raised the issues of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) by saying that Ghana will never such act in the country because our constitution and religion do not accept such acts.
During the debate on the floor of parliament, Sam Nartey said that if the great human rights lawyers are willing to fight for acceptance of LGBT or whatever, he is ready to be the only person to stand and rule out the act where the laws in the country will seek to it that those in the acts will surely be penalized, by facing the law.
He concluded that, those who are for the anti-LGBTQI bill outnumber those who oppose it. Sam George said their argument is stronger than the opposition and they have enough facts to support all they are yet to bring it out which will silence those praying to accept it.
