The fight for justice for Caleb Kudah is still getting intense after the general public took to various social media platforms to condemn the beating of Cities TV's journalist. The pressure got so intensed that the president of Ghana Journalist Association, Mr Alfred Monney had to quickly backtrack his previous statement made in support of the beating of the young journalist.
Despite an investigation ongoing on the matter, a lot of people are of the opinion that the security men did the honourable thing by beating the journalist after he sneakily went to a security zone to film the number of vehicles there without any permission.
Another person who thinks the journalist deserved even tough beatings is the Bono regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Abronye DC. Speaking live on Wontumi TV's 'Nsempa Fie' the outspoken chairman applauded the security personnel for putting some sense into the journalist's head.
According to him, Caleb Kudah is not a professional journalist, but he is an SHS leaver who has been funded by the NDC to sabotage the Akufo Addo government. He continued by saying every certified and qualified journalist knows that no journalist has the right to just bulge into any place at all and begin to take videos just to defame the institution.
"He acted as if he has no training as a journalist. He lacks insight in the right to information bill which was passed just last year. Article 164 of the right to information bill States clearly that no person has the freedom to do anything that goes against the right of another. It's so sad if people expects Akufo Addo to fix a country where all these JHS leavers acts as journalist", he fumed.
Do you think the journalist intentionally bulge into the security services to record videos without any permission just to make the government unpopular?
