Mr. Osman Jamel-Deen is accused of faking and stealing approximately GHC500,000 cedis from the account of a health facility where he previously worked.
Mr. Osman was a former Accountant at the Buipe Polyclinic in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah area, where he was accused of stealing and forging the Health Superintendent's signature on NIB cheques totaling GHC580,288.17.

Mr. Osman, who is currently on police bail following his detention, is claimed to have failed to pay a cash amount into the National Investment Bank's health account (NIB).
After the facility's Medical Superintendent noticed the crime, he commented and reported him to the Regional Director, and Mr. Osman is scheduled to appear in court on May 24, 2021 on charges of theft and forgery after a series of investigations revealed that he was involved in the fraudulent trades that began just over two years ago.
