Sahada Hudu, the widow of Ibrahim Muhammed, popularly known as Kaaka, who was killed in Ejura in the Ashanti Region, has suggested that the deceased’s elder brother who has been arrested alongside two suspects is innocent of the crime but Ghanaians are asking a lot of questions concerning her response to the committee.
According to her, a neighbour who testified against her brother-in-law, accusing him of being responsible for Kaaka’s death, must be thoroughly investigated but Ghanaians are asking that why is the woman interested in defending her brother in-law instead of seeking Justice for her later husband?
Kaaka Mohammed's wife stated that the woman who cited Kaaka’s elder brother as a suspect in the killing did not personally see him involved in the physical assault that led to her husband’s death.
The woman testifying before the 3 member committee probing the disturbances in Ejura said that, the committee must thoroughly probe the issue and bring to light the individuals responsible for the death of Kaaka Muhammed but Ghanaians are not in line with her explanation to the committee.
Some people questioned and said that: Why is this woman interested in defending her brother in-law other than seeking justice for her murdered husband? She thinks they were the ones that did the murder at all cost regardless.
Some people said that she is over defending the brother in law because his innocent is not her duty and while chosen those she think is at fault.
"So you husband death will not even stop you from lies? May God forgive you" another Ghanaian questioned and jabbed the widow when peace FM online disclosed the news to them.
Someone stated that: She claims she was asleep when the said woman waked her up to announce her husband has being killed. She got the news from the eyewitness but refuses to believe her accusation pointing to her brother in-law. She is a cold woman, I must say.
