Rev Owusu Bempah Trial: Kwesi Pratt Jnr Speaks And Causes Stir

The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has reacted to the arrest and trial of founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Issac Owusu Bempah and cause massive stir.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr speaking on Metro TV good morning Ghana show today, Wednesday, 15th September, 2012 has stated that reverend Issac Owusu Bempah is a close friend to president Nana Akufo-Addo and his has done such "impunity" in the past when he refused to honour the invitation of the Ghana police Service.

According to Kwesi Pratt Jnr the new IGP is restoring hope in the people of Ghana after taking such bold step to arrest Owusu Bempah and he believes that things will get well in the country under the new IGP, Akufo Dampare.

He told the Ghana police Service to investigate everything and punish those involve in the matter including police officers accused if found guilty.

He questioned that is true that reverend Issac Owusu Bempah is sick? He if it is true, who authorized his move from police custody to the police hospital?

He questioned again that if Owusu Bempah is indeed sick, why did he spent only one day at the hospital?

Kwesi Pratt Jnr however told Ghanaians that this should be a lesson to all because the new IGP is trying much to let Ghanaians believe that no one is above the law as some people thought it's not working in the country again.

" I think the new IGP is restoring hope. This is not the first time Owusu Bempah did this. He has done this impunity in the past and refused to honour police invitation because his friend is the president of Ghana. I will urged Ghana Police Officers to investigate everything. They should investigative their police officers too and if found guilty, they should punish them. Is true that Owusu Bempah is really sick? If it true who was the officer who authorized his move to the police hospital? I think that is all i can say for now" Kwesi Pratt Jnr said on the show.
