This is the dramatic moment when an African traditional worshipper, juju priest or spiritual leader storm an Abuja court in solidarity with Omoyele Sowore.
Sowore who is the owner of an online News platform, Sahara Reporters is standing trial after being arrested by the Nigerian police for leading a protest in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. He alongside other activist were arrested at the #CrossoverWithProtest, a planned procession across the country on New Year.
This is not the first time that the human right activist would be arrested having been arrested and tried on treason charges after he had called for a protest #RevolutionNow in 2019.
In the picture which was shared by his Sahara Reporters, he was seen dressed with a blue jeans trouser, a suit and an inner shirt bearing the inscription "Revolution Now". Accompanying him was a few of his supporters and the native doctor or spiritual leader as his news platform would call him.
The spiritual leader was even with him in the court house. See comments from the news below.
