The Acting Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare has recently been in the news after the heartbreaking incident that witnessed the murder of 3 innocent victims by the fridge storage killer, Richard Appiah popped up online.
There has undoubtedly been lots of complaints by most citizens at Abessim about their safety as the Acting Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare and some members of the police management board recently stormed the Bono Region again to help check and minimize the crime rate within the region and Ghana as a whole.
Even though the police department at Abessim have been able to locate the burial grounds where the fridge storage killer hid the bodies of his victims, recent reports have proven that the vital organs of the victims is allegedly missing which has become an unexpected twist in the alarming issue.
With respect to this, the Acting Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare has come out to assure the families of the victims that, all measures are put in place to make sure that, justice prevails since it was an human cannibalism act by the suspect, Richard Appiah.
Considering how the affected families were traumatized, the IGP, Dampare has also directed the counseling department of the police service to provide the bereaved families with all the required trauma-reduction therapy and other psychological support in these trying times whilst assuring them that, Justice will prevail for the heartless act conducted by the suspect, Richard Appiah.
In addition to this, the Acting Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare and some members the Police Management Board (POMAB) have began a tour of all the 18 police regions where they stormed the Bono region as part of efforts to check and curb the rise in murder cases in the region aside getting firsthand information on any development in the ongoing investigations.
