The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Aseidu Nketia popularly known as the general mosquito said that Chief Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah may be ranked as the worse chief Justice in Ghana since the fourth republic.
He asserts that chief Justice Anin Yeboah has been characterized by an abusive administration and is surprised when his conduct is Compared with the former chief justice in terms of professionalism.
“His reign as Chief Justice has been characterized by unimaginable administrative abuses. These abuses are thrown into sharp disbelief when the conduct of the current Chief Justice is measured against the professionalism and conduct of former chief justices,” he stated
In a News conference today, Mr. Aseidu Nketia called on the Job Council to set an internal inquiry to find out the issues behind that and make recommendations for a proper proceeding bill to be passed by Parliament to regulate the activities of the court.
‘We, therefore, call on the Judicial Council to institute an internal inquiry to ascertain the reasons for these blunders and appropriate recommendations made to forestall their recurrence until appropriate legislation such as a Judicial proceedings bill is passed by Parliament to regulate the writing of judgment by our courts,” he added.
This follows the Apex court rulings including the Supreme court ruling on the election petition, the Opuni case for Justice Honyenuga to recuse himself, and the ruling on the Deputy Speaker taking part in voting processes while presiding, and others.
