The Ghana police service today release a statement about the Arise Ghana Protest with the statement saying the protest is not approved by the Ghana police service.
The Ghana police service head to the Accra high court to Grant them the permission to stop the Arise Ghana Protest, According to the Ghana police service they want the Arise Ghana to adhere to the rightful way of the protest.
The protestors wanted to start their first day march at and picketing at 3 pm and end in the evening at 8 pm and resume on the next day but the Ghana police service disagree with their conditions.
The court hearing the matter today agreed on three things.
First of all the protest will start at 8 am and end at 4 pm in the evening
Second the protestors will start at the KWAME Nkrumah interchange and move through independence square.
Lastly the the petition should not be submitted to the presidency but rather should be submitted to a representative of the president of the republic of Ghana
