Their grievances were mainly on the fact that the government agreed to reduce taxes on the importation of goods which has yielded no results.
Hence they joined Arise Youth today to make their voices heard. Following the event, the demonstration ended up in a clash between the Ghana Police Service and Demonstrators. This is a very sad occurrence.
The demonstration which is slated for two days is set to continue tomorrow, but looking at what happened today, it is not a statement of fact that the demonstration will continue tomorrow.
Other organisations may have joined which we do not have information about yet. We will update our readers on the further development of the demonstration. Until then, keep looking out for the latest news in entertainment, politics, sports and governance in this space. Thank you.
