A video circulated a few days ago and in the video, a policeman was allegedly molesting a lady in a car. The police is supposed to protect citizens and even make them feel comfortable but this policeman did otherwise.
I do not know what came over him but looking at the video, you are made to feel bad for the lady. This officer was touching her thighs and even didn't listen to her as she told him that he's making her feel uncomfortable. For the sake of those who haven't seen the video, I would like to leave it over here. You can click on this link to access it.
Thanks be to God, he was taken to Sunyani District Court B today, so he could face charges of assault to the lady. One funny thing about it all is that, he pleaded not guilty to the charges. Really? There is a video evidence out here yet, General Lance Corporal Victor Antwi Yeboah claims he is not guilty. He is currently on remand and is going to reappear in the court on this Wednesday, 1st December, 2021.
I know the Ghana Police is working really hard in these times and would never let this case rest. I am sure the truth within this matter will be unveiled no matter what happens. This is really interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how it will end. Below is what the official page of the Ghana Police Service had to say;
Many people are surprised as to why he pleaded not guilty even though, there is a video evidence. This is what some netizens had to say;
