Ejura Killing: “This is not the Ghana we preach to the world” – Sarkodie expresses disappointment

Following the killings and riots in Ejura in the Ashanti Region, Sarkodie has stated his unequivocal displeasure with the country's deteriorating security situation.

Two individuals died on the spot and others who sustained varying degrees of injuries were rushed to the hospital after the military and police fired shots sporadically into a crowd of angry youth.

The teenagers were protesting the recent murder of Mohammed Kaaka, a political activist who was attacked and killed.

Reacting to videos making rounds that give a sorry account of the level of insecurity in the country and how volatile the safety of the Ghanaian has become, Sarkodie says this is definitely not the Ghana we preach to the world.

Remember, when Sarkodie was named Flow of the Year at the 2019 Bet Hip Hop Awards, he urged everyone to pay attention to Ghana and try to visit the country. He made those remarks in light of the fact that the country is peaceful and stable.

Sarkodie, on the other hand, argues that the deteriorating nature of Ghana's security, as exemplified by the Ejura Killing, has plainly disclosed the true state of the country to every Ghanaian.
