Audrey Twum, Nana Appiah Mensah's (NAM 1) lawyer was called to the Accra Circuit Court to explain why his client NAM 1 didn't show up in Court. His lawyer explained to the court that, his client is seriously sick and has been coughing. The presiding judge sitting on this case is Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah. As a good judge, she ended the case and told her client to seek medical attention before it becomes too severe.
Audrey Twum also apologized to court for not being present when they called him. The Prosecutor, Slyvester Asare , the Assitant Suprintendent of police told the court that, Nana Appiah Mensah always appears before court when he is called upon. Due to some request made by Nana Appiah Mensah's legal team, the case has been adjourned to September 2, 2021.
The saddest part is that, the accused is standing trail together with his wife and his own sister, Benedicta Appiah. Nana Appiah Mensah's wife is called Rose Tetteh.
