Ghana reported nine more fatalities within 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities from COVID-19 to 542 as of 11 February 2021, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) said in an update. On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, the death toll from the illness was 533.
The country has, however, seen a decrease in its active events, from 8,216 to 7,850. Out of 837,925 tests performed in the world, 76,496 individuals were positive, reflecting a 9.1 per cent test-positivity rate.
The number of clinical recoveries/discharge, which stood at 67,087, also increased by 1,013 to 68,100 in total. The update also revealed that 87 people who tested positive for the disease were in serious condition, 32 of whom were in critical condition.
