A tree that bleeds like a human being surfaces, receives massive reaction from people.

Here's the Bloodwood tree Pterocarpus angolensis. it's a tree that bleeds like a human native to south africa, angola, mozambique, namibia, zaire, tanzania, eswatini, zimbabwe and zambia. This is purely natural and not spiritually motivated blood-like bleeding. It is known by various names such as Kiaat, Mukwa, and Muninga.

Pterocarpus angolensis, or wild teak, looks like a perfectly normal tree until it's wounded. When you cut into it, it dribbles long trails of dark-red liquid down its trunk.

The sap of the bloodwood tree is traditionally used as a dye to color various things. Many people even call the blood-red sap of tree to be magical. The reason behind the dark red color of its sap is a chemical called 'Tannins'.

There are many medicinal uses of this amazing tree including treatment for ringworm, stabbing pains, eye problems, malaria, blackwater fever, stomach problems and to increase the supply of breast milk. The tree is sometimes planted as enclosure to make a living fence.

Other Common Uses: Carvings, trim, inlays, furniture, guitars, knife handles, and turned objects.
