Hearts of Oak looks at the business side of the market to make the club attractive

Hearts is now getting grounds and targeting their vision to get the needed respect in the world.

The commercial center will have everything Hearts of Oak that is sellable and also a newspaper that will be available in hardcopy and online.

“Very important things to look forward to in the next couple of months,” he said.

“The first one, again an important part of our anniversary activities, we shall be opening, very soon, Accra Hearts of Oak Commercial Center; it is to underscore our commercial orientation.

“We have seen reasonable success at the technical level, on the pitch.

“We now want to monetize all of this and create for Hearts of Oak a money-making machine that will sustain this club in the future.

“And our commercial center will have all the merchandize activities, all the ticketing activities, and, of course, all of what will go into the publication of ‘Hearts News’, which we’ll be relaunching soon.

“It (Hearts News) will be available both online and hardcopy.”

These are certainly very laudable if it is not the usual ‘talk and forget’.

Clubs like Young Africans, Simba SC, all of Tanzania usually sell out their replica jerseys in hours.

Selling replica jerseys is one reliable means clubs can generate internal revenue apart from sponsorship and gate proceeds.

Togbe also revealed Hearts of Oak will welcome two clubs from Europe and America to sign what he calls a Common Alliance Partnership.

Hearts of Oak board chairman Togbe Afede XIV is looking toward making the club a self-sustainable one in the near future.

The majority shareholder of the club has revealed how he intends to make the club a money-making machine.

Speaking at the launch of the clubs 2021/22 kits sponsor at the World Trade Center. Togbe said the club will open a commercial enter soon.
