Most events like awards nights, exhibitions, celebrity meetings and premier shows are usually preceded by red carpet shows. It takes place either before or after the main program. Invited guest are given the opportunity to interact with the cameras, take photos and also tell the audience what they are wearing. Red carpet shows usually take place on a red carpet, hence the name ''red carpet''. There are a lot of events in Ghana that feature red carpets, some of which are; the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Three music Awards, Radio and television Personality Awards among several others. Fella is a famous Ghanaian actress and social media star who is married to celebrity musician and song writer AMG Medical. She has featured in several movies and events in Ghana. In 2018, she attended the Glitz awards in a simple but elegant looking African print gown. Her choice of outfit fascinated a lot of people. Most people were expecting her to clad herself in a glamourous and expensive garment but she decided to give Ghanaians a surprise.

Kidi's 2021 VGMA look

Kidi is a Ghanaian highlife artiste who quickly gained fame after his excellent performance in the MTN hitmaker show. He has several hit songs and was nominated for a couple of awards at the 2021 VGMAs. He stunned the whole nation at the red carpet with his gorgeous dark blue suit with diamond crystals on top. He also featured a spectacular whitish-gold dyed hair which gave him a very phenomenal look at the red carpet.
