Coming Friday, November 12, 2021, has been set aside to remember the life and pray for the former President of the Republic, Flight Lieutenant, Jerry John Rawlings.
This was announced in a release sighted online by the family of the late President to bring the country's attention to what happened last year even before the general elections and the plans that have been laid in place to keep his memories alive.
Last year, the ex service man fell after a brief ailment. The country was later told that he was attacked by the novel Coronavirus and the situation aggravated till his death.
Though the family did not give a specific costume to present at the function, they said it is going to be open in the sense that, any formal or traditional clothing is welcomed.
This event is said to be happening at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka, here in Accra at 9.00 am. They family is said to invite all to help them celebrate the State official and former soldier.
