The keenness of the president in fighting galamsey in the country is going higher and higher everyday. He failed in an attempt to bring an end to this job when he assumed office as the president. Introducing the second fight, the Minister for National Security noted soldiers should burn excavators found at galamsey sites.
Not long ago today in Fenaso No_3, a suburb town of Obuasi, two(2) Chinese men together with some Ghanaians have been arrested by the military. These people at the beginning of the fight sent their excavator and other machines away to deceive the military that they have stopped the galamsey. According to report, these Chinese men brought their excavators and other machines on Monday, 21st June, so that they will start their work since the fight is not that high as compared to the beginning.
They are now in the custody of the Obuasi Central police station looking forward for prosecution.
What possible punishment do you think will be good for these Chinese men, do you think they will be deported as they did to some few days ago? Drop your views in the comment box below and follow up for more updates. Thank you for reading and have a great day.
