Kwamena Sam Biney has recounted a work hazard of journalist in the country. He recalls when himself and Captain Smart were once taken out of a show and given a heavy beating.
Before the soldiers realized that they were journalist and mean no harm to video the live band, they had felt the punches already. He begged for adequate security for journalist in line of duty.
He recounted how Vim Lady was also assaulted as a journalist, Ohemaa Sakyiwaa was also assaulted some time ago. He said in all, what pained him was the encounter with the soldiers.
He also told a story about how a young man who is a journalist refused to pay for tickets. He sneaked and Entered a live band of soldiers.
They caught him and disciplined him to the extent that he requested for his wife to bring money from the House to pay for his ticket.
This drew a lot of laughter in the studio as he begged the security to give journalist the maximum protection.
