Reactions As Ghana Is Listed In Africa’s Top 10 Countries That Have Their Own Military Industries

Africa is one of the zones where not much is known about when it comes to defense industries. It has been the norm of most African countries to import military hardware from the West. This usually comes in the form of obsolete military gadgets. Africa isn’t new to war but in recent times there hasn’t been any major break out of war.

Africa Facts Zone, a major research page on Facebook has listed a number of African countries that have their own militaries defense industries. The top 10 include Egypt, South Africa, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia, Sudan and Uganda. Ghana placed 5th on the list. However, the question still remains if Ghana has a potent military force. Interestingly, one other question is whether the country has a military gadgets industry.

A look at the photo of military units posted showed a Kantanka bullion car as the armor vehicle for Ghana. This isn’t really the case as Ghana has no established military defense industries. Kantanka some time ago made some military gadgets but the country is yet to accept these. After the bullion van was posted attached to Ghana, some Ghanaian have come out to react to this claim that Ghana has an industry for producing the country’s arsenal. Check out some of the comments.
