Esreso Aputuogya Residents Cry For Reconstruction Of Collapsed Bridge

Residents of Esereso Aputuogya in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region have expressed concern about the difficulties they were going through in their daily activities as they play the road due to f the collapse bridge.

The Bridge which connects Atonsu, Esereso, Aputuagya and Lake Bosomtwe have been in a deplorable state since 2016 and cutrently has turn into a death trap.

According to the residents the collapse is a source of worry to commuter's since it started waning off, adding that more than four vehicles has fall into the bridge yet nothing have been down about it.

The residents noted that the bridge is affecting trading, health delivery, education and farming activities in the area as drivers unwilling to play the road, and the few who use the road charges more than the transport fare. They added that the road is not accessible whenever it rains.

The residents further said work is ongoing on the Bosomtwe road but it will be prudent for authorities to construct the collapse bridge to relieve residents of the current difficulties.

In conclusion the urge the government through the District Chief Executive, Hon.Joseph Asumming to attend to the plea of the worring residents and construct the collapsed bridge to enhance effective playing of the road.

He appealed to the government and non governmental organization to assist the people of Agona Swedru and rehabilitate at least one of the collapsed bridges.

Some residents of Esereso Aputuagya in the Ashanti Region have expressed worry over the deplorable state of Esereso Bridge , describing it as a looming danger.

She appealed to the government and stakeholders to help fix the Bridge to prevent the area from been cut off.
