#Fixthecountry convener flies LGBTQ flag

The #Fixthecountry agenda in its early stages was a move almost all disgruntled Ghanaians were happy with and perhaps embraced innocently with a certain sense of belongingness.

Members of the movement have been subjected to all forms and sharps of intimidation and humiliation in the country.

Political actors who are in support of the government of the day have described Ghanaians and others who are in support of the #Fixthecountry agenda in unprintable worlds.

Ghanaians at the receiving end of this abuse have all this while believed that the conveners of the #Fixthecountry agenda meant well for the ordinary Ghanaians.

The story however, seems to be taking an interesting twist.

Oliver Mawuse Barker-Vormawor, a private legal practitioner and convener for the #Fixthecountry movement have in a Facebook post shown his support for the LGBTQ+ agenda in Ghana by posting a photo with the colours of LGBTQ on his wall.

The #Fixthecountry convener had sought to ask why Kelvin Taylor of the Loud Silence Media and Metro TV's Paul Adom Otchere were pulling match crowd in terms of viewership and following over Citi TV's Bernard Avle.

Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament, Sam Nartey George, granted CNN an interview over the Anti-gray Bill currently before Parliament.

The interview conducted by Kenyan journalist Larry Madowo witnessed sharp disagreements between the two, ranging from medical terminologies to, in the view of Sam George, a misreading of the bill by the journalist.

It is the first international interview Sam George has granted over the issue and he reiterated his stance on issues while drumming home the point about why African values needed to be preserved at all costs.

Sam George's interview with the world's media giant has won the hearts of many.

Ghanaians has applauded his eloquence and his sharp understanding of the issues.

Sam George has suffered a lot of abuse by foreign diplomats over his stance on the LGBTQ matter.
