Marriage is an important aspect of our lives. When a relationship starts between two consent adults, most of the time, the plan is to get to the end of the tunnel- which is marriage. But sometimes it doesn’t end at the tunnel. There are some relationships and people who sustain residence in the dark tunnel (a relationship that doesn’t end in marriage) for ages and they never get to say- “I do.”
These people were up for discussion on 95.7 Pure FM’s sports show which features the legendary Oliver Khan. Oliver Khan made it clear that if you are a lady and 40 years of age or above, then forget marriage if you are still single. He said emphatically that those people have exhausted the prime of their lives and they don’t have much to offer in terms of attraction towards men.
Although other panels on the show laughed out loud, I consider the matter very imperative. Because I found the statement very shocking. There are many women who had the love of their lives in their 40s, 50s or even 60s and that is a plot twist of life. Although I admit some women in their 40s and above might have challenges to get a husband, it doesn’t make it impossible for them. What's your take on the matter?
