Akuapem Poloo sentenced to 90 days imprisonment

Entertainer Akuapem Poloo conceived Rosemond Brown has been given a 90 days prison sentence by the Accra Circuit Court over stripped pictures with her child. 


The conviction on Friday comes after she posted a bare picture with her child on Instagram praising his seventh birthday celebration. 


Giving her judgment, Christina Cann communicated discontent with the disturbing rate with which nakedness has become a thing in the country's online media space. 


She said it is significant the court take sanctions for the message to go down with everybody that it is so off-base to do that via web-based media. 


The appointed authority added that the entertainer is being rebuffed to fill in as a disincentive to other people. 

On Wednesday, the entertainer who was remanded into authority went through a pregnancy test before her condemning. 


The entertainer was dealing with indictments of distribution of revolting materials, participating in aggressive behavior at home in particular direct that in any capacity sabotages someone else's protection or uprightness and taking part in aggressive behavior at home to be specific lead that in any capacity reduces or is probably going to diminish someone else's respect and worth as an individual. 


As per the arraignment, on June 30 2020, Rosemond praised her child's seventh birthday celebration by taking naked pictures along with her child who was likewise half-exposed. 


She posted the photos on her Instagram page which turned into a web sensation via web-based media. 


The photos pulled in remarks, adding that the conduct of the denounced individual was probably going to diminish the respect of her seven-year-old child among others. 


The complainant for the situation was Bright Appiah, the Director of Child Rights International Ghana. 


The kid's correct dissident requested of the police after the photograph turned into a web sensation via online media, and the matter was alluded to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU). 


Miss Brown's legal counselors say they intend to claim the sentence.
