Check The Reasons Why People Think NDC is Worrying Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata with Court Cases.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), is blessed with numerous Gurus in Law, that has achieved success in their endeavors. People still could not understand why the party is bombarding the profound and astute, Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata with court cases. Some Lawyers like, Tony Lithur, Marietta, Martinet Idrisu, Dominic Ayine, Abraham Amaliba, Edudji Tamakloe, Haruna Idrisu, Inusah Fuseini, Nelson Dafeamekpor, Alex Segbefia, Joyce Bawah, among many great minds in NDC.

He leads the Party’s Legal Team in the 2013 election petition, filed by then opposition leader, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo. He disagrees with the election result declared by the Electoral Commission. Lawyer Tsatsu, also lead the team in the 2020 election petition filed by his Party. He is currently handling the Hohoe seat case, about the injustice against part of the communities.

Veteran Lawyer Tsikata managed to win the 2013 petition for the NDC, which reaffirms the victory of H.E John Dramani Mahama. He lost the 2020 election petition, which consolidates the victory of President Nana Akuffo Addo. He lost the Hohoe Seat case, seeking to nullify the victory and operations of Hon. John Peter Amewu as Member of Parliament. Mr. Tsikata applied for a review in the Supreme Court of Ghana, slated for March 30, 2021.

The Agitations

First of all, people are of the view that, the man is of Age and must be left to rest. Even though, he likes to be in the court, it does not guarantee the party to stress him with tough court cases. He needs to spend more time with his family and love ones. Any other senior most lawyers in the party can represent in the cases.

Again, many thinks that it is an agenda of some NDC Leaders to tent his record in law. Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata has represented many reputable companies and firms in the country. He chopped massive successes in the cases that he handles, that makes many people envy him a lot. It marvels the mind of people, why this caliber of person, is given cases that has a high potential of failure. If this is not to attack and drain his achievements, then what else.

In addition, people also thinks that, the party must consider his health challenges, to give him a break. He is Asthmatic from young age; he recalls himself smoking asthmatic cigarette in Secondary School to manage the situation. He nearly died in prison because of such disease. The Party must ask themselves, if their being fair to the man. Allowing the man to stand on his feet for long in court proceedings, does not do anybody good.

The man is a Genius in all standards, that needs to be imparting wisdom into the young ones, rather than running after cases in court. Even if he insisted of doing so, no one is in the Party to convince him to stay away. He can coach behind, but actively involving him in the cases, is a hell no. The Party must come clean on this awful situation going on. The situation needs to be given an attention, for possible solutions.

Short Profile

The man am talking about is a Lawyer, Academician, and a Distinguished Lawyer. He taught most of the judges in the Supreme Court, both past and new ones. He leads many Corporate and Private institution in legal battles. He came to the political lime light, when he is the Chairman of GNPC under the late H.E J.J. Rawlings. Which he was hailed by many.

He got jailed under H.E J.A. Kuffuor, for causing financial loss to the state. There is no proper trial in the court before, sentencing him to prison. Many suspected that, it is a political agenda to get him into prison at all cause. After rejecting the offer of the President’s Clemency, even when he is seriously ill. He kept on the fight, until he redeems himself from the false accusations levelled against him.
