A known National Democratic Congress youth activist in the Techiman South constituency has been butchered by party thugs following a clash at the party office.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon as two groups clashed at the party office as one faction reportedly made attempt to prevent the other from holding a press conference.
The injured Faharan, was rushed to the Holy Family Hospital for medical attention and subsequently transferred to the Bono Regional Hospital in Sunyani for further medical assessment. He is in a very critical condition and we can not upload photos due to graphic content. It's extremely very bad.

The Ghana police service have taken up to investigate the case and bring down all perpetrators involved in the clash. For the meantime, there has been some calm and orderliness.
The NDC in Techiman has been in turmoil for over 18-months with some party leaders including the constituency secretary, Youth Organizer and Communication Officer being at the receiving end of various forms of assaults.
