Ghanaian actress, Rosemond Alade Brown aka Akuapem Poloo, has been convicted by Accra Circuit court over the publication of a nude picture with her seven-year-old son in June last year
The actress pleaded not guilty to the charges at the court presided over by Christiana Cann.
Her charges were due to the publication of obscene materials, engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity and engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.
After proceedings today, the court has remanded her into the Police Custody till Friday where she will reappear for her final verdict.
Reports had it that, Poloo shed uncontrollable tears today but that did not convince the judge.
Poloo is expected to appear in court on Friday with pregnancy test results to facilitate the judgment
