You’ve probably heard the saying in the Akan language “Nsu ma Kwan” which translates to “water is life or water gives life”. Its is not a surprise that scientist says our body is made of about 60% of water.
However, getting access to quality water or drinking the right water at the right time has been a problem which many of us face. For instance, most of us prefer chilled or cold water during the hot afternoon – an action which has been linked to severe health risk and yet we enjoy it.
This morning I came across an article from Brightside and decided to share it with my cherished followers and so if you don’t want to miss my future health tips then I suggest you hit the FOLLOW button so that you get notified when I release something of value.
“According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%.” – says USGS.
Hence, knowing the right form or type of water to drink should be your topmost priority. Today we will have a look at what can happen to the skin if you drink warm water every day.
What Can Happen to Your Skin If You Drink Warm Water Every Day
1. Clearer skin
Normally we say sweat are toxins that are being expelled by our body. If that is the case, then I guess it's time to give a couple of your minutes to warm water. According to studies, warm water spikes up our internal temperature thereby helping to boost digestion and aiding in detoxification.
2. Delays ageing
Drinking warm water is taught to delay the ageing process, how? We read earlier about the toxins which get excreted by the out body. Such toxins cause breakouts, dark spots and puffy eyes which all speeds the ageing process.
3. Lower risk of getting dandruff
When you take in warm water, it keeps your skin moist and lowers your risk of getting dandruff.
4. Shield you against infections
Warm water again helps the inflammation process. It helps the kidney to flush out waste products.
