The German national, Thomas Tuchel names a player for Abramovich to sign this summer.

According to Sport, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has sent Blues owner Roman Abramovich the name of the player he wants to sign this summer transfer window.

Tuchel has requested that Abramovich use Timo Werner in a player-plus-cash deal to sign Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The German coach is desperate to sign Haaland before the end of the season, and he hasn't held back in his criticism of Werner's coaching style.

Since replacing Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge last January, the former Paris Saint-Germain coach has been overheard "barking orders" at Werner from the sidelines.

Chelsea will face stiff competition for Haaland's signature from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City, as well as La Liga sides Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Chelsea are also considering a bid to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter should they fail in a move for Erling Haaland.

The Blues are facing intense competition for Haaland's signature this summer, with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City all linked with a move for the Norweigan.

These links has prompted the blues to consider alternatives with Lukaku, who made just 15 appearances in his first spell at the club between 2011 and 2013, high on their wanted list.
