Indeed one politician who is known for his philanthropic works is the member of Parliament for Assin North Constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong. He is done a lot of philanthropic works with his money over the years.
It can be recalled tht during the peak of the covid-19 pandemic, he donated a lot of personal protective equipments to several hospitals and institutions worth millions of cedis. He has also been sponsoring the education of several students for years. He is one MP who is known for building schools, hospitals, roads, etc with his personal funds.
Recently, as he turned 61, the rich businessman and politician decided to extend a helping hand to several institutions and individuals in Ghana. Among them is a commitment to build a cardiothoracic center for the 37 Military Hospital in Accra. He recently cut to begin work on the center.
Today, the philanthropic MP has donated an amount of $100,000 to the 37 Military Hospital again. This time, the purpose is to train medical staff to be able to operate the cardiothoracic center very well. He made the donation to the hospital in a function held at the premises of the hospital in the presence of the hospital workers in their uniforms.
