How to prevent hackers from adding your number to a WhatsApp group without your permission.

KINDLY SHARE TO YOUR FRIENDS TO BENEFIT FROM THIS

Have you ever been added to a strange WhatsApp group without your knowledge and you've been wondering how the administrators of that group managed to add your number without your permission? If "Yes", then make sure read through to the end for a simple solution to prevent that from henceforth, and if "No", you still have to read on because you don't know when you might become the next target.

WhatsApp as we all know it is by far the most widely used messaging app worldwide. With over 2 Billion users, it's no surprise that it ranks as the best messaging app. It's quite unusual to meet someone with a smart phone not having a WhatsApp app on their phone. So useful has it become that mobile phone companies such as Samsung, Huawei, Motorola, iPhone and all other brands of phone manufacturers deem it fit to pre-install WhatsApp as part of their regular system apps. Without WhatsApp you're almost seen as being archaic.

Because of its wide usage and the vast number of people who are signed unto the messaging app, it has also become a prime target for attack by many unscrupulous people who try to prey on unsuspecting users. There's been several instances where one wakes up to suddenly find your number added to some strange groups like "Lotto", "Dating", "Gaming" etc. Some people have had to spend some time behind bars and others in prison simply because their numbers were found to be part of an Occultic or evil group.

To prevent this from happening, WhatsApp has added a feature in the app that allows you to give access to only your contacts to add you to a group. This prevents unauthorised people from adding you to a group without your permission. To do thus you must change the default settings from "Everyone" to "My Contacts"

Below are the simple 7 step procedure to attain "freedom".

1. Open your "WhatsApp"

2. Go to "Settings" on the upper right corner of the app

3. Click on "Account"

4. Press "Privacy"

5. Go to "Groups"

6. Change from (Everyone) to (My Contacts).

7. Click (Done)

If you did this successfully, you should be free from those hackers now.
