2020/21 stat comparison: KDB Vs Bruno Fernandes, Who deserved the PFA player of the year award.

Kevin De Bruyne was the winner of the latest PFA Men’s Players’ Player of the Year award.

With football fans anticipating to find out whether Harry Kane would take home the prestigious prize, there was a surprise when De bruyne was named the winner, raising a lot of controversies.

De Bruyne was named as only the third man in history to retain the PFA prize, following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry despite his season being ruined with injuries.

Although he suffered injuries, De Bruyne did enjoy a fantastic campaign having scored 6 goals and 14 assists from his 23 PL game starts.

I think Fernandes should have won as far as the statistics are concerned.
