I'm Disappointed That ACP Kwesi Ofori Has Not Responded To The Calls By TV3 - Former Gender Minister

On today's episode of 'THE KEYPOINTS' on TV3, the host of the program, Dzifa Bampoe, indicated that ACP Kwesi Ofori has not responded to their several attempts to get a representative from the Ghana Police Service on the show to provide some information on the alleged kidnapping and pregnancy of Josephine Panyin Mensah.

Reacting to the tv3's inability to reach ACP Kwesi Ofori to get a representative for the show, a former minister of Gender and Social protection, and a co-panelist on the program, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, said that she is disappointed that ACP Kwesi Ofori, has not responded to the calls by TV3 to get a representation on the show because the Ghana Police Service needs to make some clarifications on the alleged kidnapping and pregnancy of Josephine Panyin Mensah.

According to Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, she doesn't understand why the Ghana Police Service is too much focused on whether she is pregnant or not.

Nana Oye Bampoe Addo indicated that Ghanaians are concerned about whether Josephine Panyin Mensah was kidnapped or not and the Ghana police's investigation on that, but the Ghana Police Service are rather focusing on whether she was pregnant or not and the fact that she has faked the pregnancy.

She stated that in terms of security and terms of law and order, she would have thought that the focus of the Ghana Police Service should have been on the kidnapping of Josephine Panyin Mensah.

"The pregnancy is an element of the investigation, but we are now scared of getting kidnapped because there are so many reports of kidnapping in Ghana."

"I am disappointed that ACP Kwesi Ofori has not responded to the calls by TV3 to provide information on the issue and even to get a representative for the program because this is a topical issue presently in Ghana."

She added that there is a lot of discussions currently ongoing about the alleged kidnapping and pregnancy of Josephine Panyin Mensah, and it is making people worried about their safety and security in this country, so the Ghana Police Service should be up and doing.
