The dancehall king has taken a fresh swipe at VGMA just after they announced the exoneration of Stonebowy and Shatta Wale from a ban, that hit both camps following a bizarre and disrespectful display at the 2019 VGMA. The board chairman of the Vodafone Ghana Music award issued a public release yesterday indicating both artists will be regarded in subsequent events.
However the dancehall king, famed as Shatta Wale showed no surprise to the announcement and posted several controversial messages on his page. Check out the post and some comments from his fans.
Apparently, Shatta Wale has no veneration whatsoever for the organization. The dancehall king feels bigger than the VGMA by virtue of the reputable and high profile collaboration he has attracted over the years heightening his popularity worldwide. He persistently disrespects the organization with vile words and demeanour which isn't the best for Ghana music going forward.
Unlike the Bhim Nation president, Stonebowy, he was similarly not surprised with the exoneration but responded in an appreciable and a matured way on his page. Stonebowy felt both artists should have been informed and engaged prior to the announcement and even before the banned.
Anyway, it comes as a good news to the music industry as their subsequent participation would electrify and bring back the enthusiasm surrounding the event like before.
