Popular controversial Ghanaian lawyer and the National communication officer for the biggest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Sammy Gyamfi has just reposted Mr Martin Amidu's statement about President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and it's causing a very serious stir online.
Mr Martin Amidu served as the First Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Ghana from 2018 until his resignation in 2020, citing political interference by President Nana Akufo-Addo. According to him, President Nana Addo is not the good man people think he is. Last year after he ( Mr Martin Amidu) resigned as the Special prosecutor of the country, he mocked President Nana Akufo-Addo and called him the 'mother serpent of corruption' which sparked a lot of controversies online.
According to Mr Martin Amidu's recent statement which Sammy Gyamfi posted on his page few minutes ago, the regret he (Martin Amidu) has in life is to have trusted President Nana Akufo-Addo in such a foolish manner and also agreeing to be his special prosecutor. He thought president Nana Akufo-Addo was very serious about fighting corruption in the country.
Martin Amidu writes;
"𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙩 𝙄 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙠𝙪𝙛𝙤 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙤 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙖 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙛 𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙪𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣"
