2020-10-17 14:38:37

Running Mate to former President John Dramnai Mahama, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has kick started her campaign tour to the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Soon after she touched grounds in the Ashanti Region capital of Kumasi, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang paid a curtsey call on the Paramount Chief of Offinso Traditional area Nana Wiafe Akeneten III.

She was welcomed by the chief and his traditional authorities at his palace, where they discussed a lot of issues surrounding the upcoming 2020 general elections in Ghana.

Nana Wiafe Akenten III called on Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang and other politicians in the country to ensure peace continue to reign during, before and after the 2020 general elections in December.

He added that projects initiated by the NDC administration in his area have all been stalled since the New Patriotic Party took over the realms of affairs in 2017.

He appealed to Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, to ensure the abandoned projects are completed when they assume the mantle in December.

On her part, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang reminded them of the better Ghana agender message by John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.

She pledged to ensure every single project in the area is duly completed after they are declared winners of the election.
