Martha Bissah finally apologizes to the Ghana Athletics Association

Ghanaian born athlete Martha Bissah 24 has finally apologized to the Ghana Athletics Association and it head professor Francis Dodoo for her behavior towards them.

The 2014 gold winner at the youth Olympics in china was indefinitely suspended since 2016 by the Ghana Athletics Association after she leveled accusations against them and their boss Prof. Dodoo.

The Ghana Olympics Authority suspended her on claims they deem as indiscipline and peddlingof lies against the association.

Bissah 24, accused executives of the Ghana Athletics Association of extortion while they were looking for scholarship for her to go outside the continent to study.

The Ghana Athletics Association and it Executives has since been demanding apologies and retraction of her comments.

Her apology letter which was addressed through the Director General of National Sports Authority to the Ghana Athletics Association reads

“I wish to humbly express my sincerest apology and outmost regret for my behavior towards the Ghana Athletics Association in general and Professor Dodoo in particular sometime in 2015.

I am really sorry for my unprofessional and immature behavior as well as my subsequent defamatory comments.

I know my actions have damaged our working relationship and hope this broken relationship will be restored to enable us work together again. I assure you that I will not act in that manner again.’

Please accept my apologies”

The Ghana Athletics Association are yet to reply her apology letter.
