Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of gold dealership firm, Menzgold Ghana Limited was supposed to settle debts owed his customers whose monies were locked up. But till today some have still not received a pesewa of their principal amount. Later it was heard that some staff of Menzgold Ghana Limited accused management of conniving with some persons within the government to secretly pay off selected clients of the company.

A group calling itself "Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold Ghana Limited" gave the government a three-day ultimatum to furnish it with detailed plans for the retrieval of their monies from the troubled investment company. The Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold Ghana Limited begun a series of demonstrations to demand their principal investments which are locked up with the embattled gold dealership firm.

Fast forward to the month of March the 20th 2021, the leader of LPG has indicated that, right from the onset he knew Nam1 was a scam and that his outfit claim of trading in gold was a fraudulent venture. Speaking on Kingdom FM 101.9, the presidential aspirant opined that the opulence displayed by Nam1 should have caused state Authorities to arrest him.

In abroad, you can't do Nam1 business and as at the time that he displayed his wealth, in any serious jurisdiction he would have been arrested. He continued by saying he first sighted Nam1 business building at Lagos Avenue, he enquired what was happening and immediately knew it was a ponzi scheme.

He concluded by saying " if menzgold customers are hopeful of retrieving their monies I want to state it on authority that it has gone to vanish and it is lost forever."
