The member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency, Hon Samuel Dzata Nartey George has admitted on Metro TV good morning Ghana show today that Accra has been too filthy and they must work on it after the panel is discussing about kwawu Easter celebrating when the host asked about sanitation issue in Accra.

Hon speaking on the show hosted by Randy Abby admitted that greater Accra Region has been too filthy and they needed to change because of the nature of how covid-19 has exposed them in cleaning the community.

He disclosed that the Regional minister for Greater Accra region has held a meeting with both Political parties involving Chairman for both NDC and NPP for the first time in Accra, and he has suggested that Accra has to work again and he accepted his proposal but he will admit that his Community is lucking a lot of problem which the minister must addressed first.

According to him, his Constituent is lucking good water system and sanitation problem which he admitted that he must work on it as they are celebrating Easter this year.

He stated that the minster in the meeting tried to addressed them that with all the good idea been brought on board, they wanted to implement them during elections or campaign season but he disagree with the minister by saying that, for how long will Politicians use election seasons to make the people believe that they're working for them?

Hon Sam George however disagree with the minister's good suggestions by using only election time to help the people in Ghana and said they must start now so that, people will know that not election times that they deserves good projects and sanitation in Accra is too poor and it has exposed them fully during the covid-19 pandemic era.

"This is the time we must work on many things in Accra again. Sanitation in Accra is too bad and covid-19 pandemic situation has exposed us. I admit it and we must work on it because Covid-19 has shown us that we are lucking a lot and the number of traffic in my Constituency is too high than kasoa now. Randy, you know we must learn from how recklessly we celebrate the Christmas and how we organized our election last year. Accra must work again as we are celebrating Easter this year" he added on the show.
