Fast rising rapper, Yaw Tog whose real name is Thorstein Owusu Gyimah has been seen in the news again.Yaw Tog hails from kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana.He came into the limelight after his remix song "Sore" went viral after featuring top UK rapper Stormzy.
Yaw Tog happens to be part of a music group called Asakaa.This group made lots of waves last year releasing hits upon hits.It was with this group that Yaw Tog released "Sore" which earned him views on social media and also received an enormous amount of airplays.
Monday , April 12 saw his fans and admirers react to a freestyle video uploaded on his page.This sparked alot of fire on twitter.
One Twitter user claimed "Wey kindergarten rap this mtchew.I blame those around him,they will be like "bars" apuu wey bars.
Another user also claimed,"He should just concentrate on his EP promotion and shun dey do plenty freestyle.
Lastly a fan claimed,"He made that freestyle as a thank you to Stormzy and not for the locals....sorry if you can't relate...young bull.
Congratualtions to him for been named the BET Amplified International Artiste of the month.
