Matters arising from the recently held NPP Congress keep getting interesting by the day.
It would be recalled that Chairman Wontumi and 14 other regional Chairmen of the party sided with John Boadu prior to the elections but unfortunately for the them their man lost the elections.
Many have condemned the act by the chairman stating that it was unfair for them to have sided with a particular candidate given thier role as party chairmen.
The latest to add his voice to the behaviour of the 15 regional Chairmen is a former NPP Member of Parliament for Obuasi Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mr Edward Ennin.
According to Mr Edward Ennin, the 15 regional Chairmen lowered themselves to allow chairman Wontumi to dictate for them. He questioned why they allowed themselves to be used against the will of the people.
Mr Edward Ennin also argued that the decision of the 15 regional Chairmen was completely against the will of the delegates. That is why the delegates proved it by voting against John Boadu.
Mr Edward Ennin who made this known on the 'Ghana Yensom morning show' hosted by Kwame Obeng Sarkodie on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, on Accra 100.5 FM, he asked “How can you belittle yourself to be used by a ‘small boy' Wontumi to go against the will of your people”?
