In a social media post, the army confirms the arrest of the famous actor for soliciting support for the indigenous people of Biafra. The army however denies assaulting the veteran actor. The army said the actor initially resisted arrest.

Not only was the veteran actor soliciting support for the group but he was also caught wearing clothing draped in the colors of the separatist group
