The Inspector General of Police Akufo Dampare and his boys have officially apologized to all Ghanaians over some alleged misconduct of some four Police officers.
According to an official press statement, the four Police officers have been pushed to a tight corner of interdiction. Per the press release, if they are found guilty of the charges, their cups and uniforms will be removed.
Explain the circumstances which led to this action by the Police Headquarters in Accra, four Police officers were contacted to Help the Volta River Authority (VRA) and The Northern Electricity Divisional Company (NEDCO).
They were assigned to track down some residents who have connected illegal Electricity. When the Police men got there this morning, they turned the checks into a discipline spree.
They started beaten the alleged illegal Electricity connectors. Some residents in solidarity also joined the civilians against the Police. It nearly turned into a bloody scuffle until Calm was restored
Few hours from this morning, the IGP have brought the four officers to book. He says he is very Sorry to all the affected civilians. The Police administration is making efforts to contact them and Help them with medical assistance and psychological Counselling.
